The Kingdom of Salyndria has a strict code for those who use magic. Leith is an ambitious sorcerer, exiled to an ancient observatory in a cursed forest for breaking the rules. He is suspected of plotting a rebellion once he acquires an ancient relic. Kyler is the beautiful and loyal young scribe sent to spend the winter as his assigned apprentice, and also as an unwitting spy. Though he plans to drive away the unwanted distraction with his reputation as a vicious, unforgiving master, Leith discovers his new pupil is more useful than she appears. A sleeping evil and a secret prophecy wait in a forbidden island graveyard. Together, the sorcerer and the scribe will mark Salyndria’s history forever. The story is equally sinister and sensual, a dark fantasy adventure full of suspense and surprises.
